Step out of the office and onto the Solent for one of our Corporate Sailing Days – a perfect mix of hands-on learning, collaboration, and pure enjoyment. Whether you’re rewarding your team, entertaining clients, or building stronger connections, a day at sea offers a fresh perspective – no sailing experience required.

What to Expect on the Day

Our sailing days are designed to encourage active participation and teamwork, but also allow flexibility – your team can get involved as much or as little as they wish. From learning the ropes to simply enjoying the breeze and scenery, the day can be tailored to suit everyone’s comfort level.

🕘 Morning: Meet, Eat & Set Sail

• Participants gather outside our office, based at Hamble Point Marina office.

• Guests requiring wet-weather or sailing gear will be kitted out.

• An optional breakfast is provided at the Ketch Rigger – enjoy tea, coffee, orange juice, and bacon or sausage baps.

• Over breakfast, you'll meet your professional skippers, who will brief you and lead your group to the yachts.

• At 9:30 AM, skippers provide a comprehensive safety briefing on board.

• By 10:00 AM, yachts depart the marina. The morning session includes hands-on sailing instruction and navigation basics, with guests encouraged to helm and navigate under skipper supervision.

🕛 Midday: Anchor for Lunch & Tactics Talk

• Around 12:30 PM, the yachts will moor in scenic locations like Osborne Bay (with views of Osborne House) or the tranquil Beaulieu River.

• Enjoy a relaxed lunch on board, featuring freshly prepared rolls, wraps, savoury bites, and cake (catering fees apply)

• Over lunch, skippers introduce racing techniques and team strategy, allowing teams to prepare for a fun and friendly afternoon challenge.

🕑 Afternoon: Informal Yacht Race

• At 2:00 PM, yachts set off again for an informal race around a buoyed course – designed based on the wind, tide, and group interests.

• Teams will sail and navigate the course with skippers offering support, tips, and encouragement.

• This is where teamwork, communication, and quick thinking really shine!

🕟 End of Day: Return & Recognition

• By 4:30 PM, yachts return to Hamble Point Marina.

• Wrap up the day back at the Ketch Rigger Pub with a light-hearted awards presentation, recognising teamwork, effort, and the winning crew.
