Had another amazing week sailing thanks to HPYC. The team here are so friendly; Alex, Josh and Dave are a really credit to the business - nothing seems to much trouble and we shall definitely be visiting again next year. Here’s to hoping we have another mid 20’s heatwave.....please.

We chartered a boat with Karen, at very ,very short notice after a previous company informed us that they had doubled booked and were cancelling us. Karen was amazing & did everything that she could to get us booked in and keeping us informed all the way. Well what a blessing the cancellation turned out to be. We were let down extremely last minute by a chartering company for a hen do. With just 3 days till the big day I started getting a little panicked! I had no need to! I spoke to Karen in the office who was extremely helpful! We chartered 2 boats which were both fantastic - skippers were relaxed and friendly and encouraged some of the more inexperienced among our group to have a go on helm, which resulted in a fantastic and participative day for all on board. We were blessed with perfect conditions for sailing, a truly amazing day on the water.
Dealing with Hamble Point Yacht Charters has been a great experience. The whole team are very professional. We took 2 boats out onto the Solent with 24 clients to experience a day’s sailing. They had an exhilarating time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The offices are conveniently located with ample parking. They are also situated very close to a restaurant who provide excellent crew meeting facilities with great tea, coffee and bacon rolls – I will be using Hamble Point Charters again

They are a professional company, my dealings with the office were very straightforward and they responded promptly to all my calls and e-mails. They had some last minute issues with the intended yacht, but they were able to arrange for a suitable replacement and everything was in good order when we arrived. The yacht itself was in excellent condition and sailed brilliantly.

Charted a Bavaria 36 for a weekend trip. Last minute booking and super impressed with how we managed to sort thing out so quickly and easily after just a couple of e-mails and phone calls. Arrived late Friday after office was closed but check in pack had been left for us to pick up and overnight onboard. Boat very nicely kitted out and left Sat morning to ride Westerly tide to Lymington. Great local knowledge given during the morning walk through about where to moor and get dinner. Nice sail back on Sunday. Weather turned foul but she handled really well under full sail. Everyone on board enjoyed themselves and it's exactly what I'd hoped for from the weekend. This was first time sailing from Hamble and it's a great location to get quickly into the Solent. Definitely will be back once weather warms up and days get longer to try some longer trips. We charted one of the sailing yachts for a fantastic weekend cruise in the Solent. The boat was in superb condition and well equipped, the staff was very helpful explaining how things work on the yacht and there was also a video available with all the important information. 10/10 would recommend!

Had a fantastic week chartering Blue Otter, Alex was incredibly helpful and sent loads of information and date checking prior to booking. There was a handover video and both the handover and return were really smooth. The boat was lovely and well maintained and Lee was really helpful in recommending places to visit (and helping identify the steering issue as an autopilot takeover - doh!). Definitely will be back and would fully recommend!
