Recently, we welcomed Lancer Scott for their annual corporate sailing day on the Solent. Following the event, they described it as "one of our best years ever" and praised both the organisation of the day and the experience provided by our skippers.

A typical corporate sailing day begins with guests arriving at Hamble Point Marina for a welcome briefing and introductions to their skipper and yacht. After a safety briefing, crews head out onto the Solent where they can get as involved as they wish in sailing the yacht.
Throughout the day, guests have the opportunity to take the helm, help trim sails, learn new skills and work together as a team. For those who prefer to sit back and enjoy the experience, there is also plenty of time to relax and take in the scenery.
Many groups choose to include friendly racing between yachts, adding an extra element of teamwork and competition. Depending on the size of the event, guests may sail aboard several yachts from our charter fleet, creating a memorable and engaging experience for everyone involved.
One of the highlights of the Lancer Scott event was the race back to Hamble.
Following the day, the team commented on the "thrilling race back" and admitted they genuinely thought they had secured the win until some dramatic last-minute manoeuvres changed the result.
These are the moments that people remember. Long after the event has finished, the stories, laughter and friendly rivalry continue back in the office.
