What the government announcement means for charters!

Following the recent government announcement, we've been keeping a close eye on what this might mean for our charterers. It comes to us as a blow that guidance from The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) confirm the charter of boats is not allowed during the current phase of lock down.

Commercial boating operations will remain closed and the current guidance indicates we can resume at the same time as the hospitality sector, which is anticipated to re-open in July.  Private households are able to go day sailing on their own boats.

We are open for business though and taking bookings for July onwards.
So if you want a dose of Vitamin Sea then give us a call on 02380 457110 or contact us.
If you are worried about what will happen to your booking if the virus is still around, have a look at our amended booking terms on our website for details.

We are now part of a working party that is involved in lobbying the government to allow people living within the same household, initially, to be able to charter for single day sailing, allowing both space and freedom to enjoy the picturesque Solent in safety.
