Endangered Spiny Seahorse returns to Studland Bay

We've been amazed to hear about the wonderful sightings of the spiny seahorse returning to Studland Bay during lockdown.

Studland Bay in Dorset is one the most important sites for Spiny Seahorses in the UK, but sadly numbers have dwindled to just a couple of sightings since 2015.

With seagrasses beginning to repair themselves, some of the incredible microhabitats across Solent waters are truly flourishing.

Don't just take our word for it, take a look at this incredible local footage shot by Ryan Gillett ( this particular footage taken along Chichester Harbour)
