Riverside Restaurant, Bursledon (023 8040 4100), superb chinese food. Also take away and deliveries.
The Jolly Sailor, Bursledon (023 8040 5557), just a half hour cruise up river, but check the tides. Made famous by ‘Howards Way’. Pleasant food in a nice riverside setting.
The Folly Inn, Cowes (01983 297171), popular pub well worth sailing to up the Medina River
George Hotel, Yarmouth (01983 760331), excellent dining in this charming Isle of Wight harbour
Master Builder’s House Hotel, Buckler’s Hard (01590 616253), superb restaurant and fine pub in historic surroundings
