Just a quick note to thank you all for your help in arranging a wonderful charter on Friday night.  The service from yourselves was professional, friendly and efficient - and Nota Bene was a beautiful yacht to spend the evening on.  I'd also be grateful if you could pass on our thanks to Clive, who was great company and a fantastic skipper.  With many of the group having their first experience of sailing on the evening his enthusiasm and expert tuition made it something they'd unanimously like to do again in the future... and we hope he enjoyed the evening as much as we did.

You will be pleased to know that the Channel crossing went without a hitch!  It was lovely to meet Sarah, have Sarah on board, and have her help to get me back up to speed.  We were all delighted to have Sarah with us for the day sail, and when we left for France at 5 the next morning I had full confidence, largely thanks to our day trip to Yarmouth together.  I very much hope we shall sail together again one day.

We were all very satisfied with ARIAM and our week of sailing in the Solent.  The boat, its engine, rigging and sails were in excellent condition; it would have been ideal to have a cruising chute and a little cockpit table, but as we did better than last year in the race, do not take this remark as a complaint. Those crew members, who participated in their first Round The Island Race, were sincerely delighted with the weather and the sailing, so I am confident  we can run this event again in 2011

Thank you so much for the use of your boat at last week’s Cowes rally.  We all had a brilliant time and we’ve had some great feedback from some of our clients who attended.  All the skippers and crew seemed to get on really well and there was a great buzz over the three days.  So once again thank you for your time, the use of your boat and most of all your company.  We hope to see you again next year!
